According to our definition, testing is divided into:

• test planning

• test specification

• test execution, also automated, including analysis & error tracking.

From the epics, user stories & business concepts we derive a list of business processes whose individual functions are realised by the software.

In addition, we analyse the architecture of the system with special attention to risk areas such as interfaces & batch processes. To make the software test manage- & controllable, we name the test objects in the test plan; these are the identified processes, interfaces & batch functions.
